Meet Kyra
A little about me…
Hi, I’m Kyra! I’m a birth and postpartum doula serving families in the Kansas City area. I believe that every woman deserves to feel supported, informed, and cared for as she enters motherhood.
I became a doula because I saw how deeply mothers need to be seen, encouraged, comforted, and cared for during one of the biggest transitions of their lives.
My passion for birth work comes from my belief that women are incredibly capable, and the way we are supported during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum matters. Birth is a powerful and transformative experience, and no mother should have to walk through it feeling alone or unheard.
On a more personal note…
I am a Kansas City native, born and raised. While Kansas City will always be home, my dream is to settle in the country and homestead my life away with a bunch of children.
In my free time, I enjoy long walks, exercising, being outside, good food, and, most of all, spending time with my husband.
I have always been drawn to caring for others, which is what ultimately led me to birth work. I believe women deserve to feel informed, supported, and deeply cared for as they walk through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. It is an honor to be invited into such a meaningful season of life, and I am grateful for the opportunity to walk alongside the families I serve.
